6 Key Points to Consider When Filling Out the UPSC Forms
The online application form consists of two parts, Part I and Part II, and here are the steps to complete the UPSC form filling 2023:
Part I
To complete Part I of the registration form:
Step 1: Visit the official website at www.upsconline.nic.in or upsc.gov.in for more information on the notice issued by the European Commission.
Step 2: On the home page of the official website, click the Apply Online link on the right pane. Click Apply for Various Exams Online, then click Apply for Various Exams Online from UPSC.
Step 3: After clicking on the Part I Registration link, a screen will appear with essential instructions for completing the online application form. Candidates are advised to carefully read all displayed instructions before continuing.
Step 4: After reading the instructions, click Yes, and you will be taken to the Part I registration page. Candidates are asked to provide personal information such as name, gender, date of birth, father’s name, nationality, and address in Part I of the registration.
Step 5: Enter your educational background and contact information after entering your personal information. Candidates must provide photo identification, the number of attempts taken, grades obtained at the final stage, and details of the preliminary exam center.
Step 6: After these details have been entered, the candidate can preview the details and edit the application at this stage if desired. After previewing, click Submit. Registration for Part I is now complete. Candidates will receive a Registration ID upon completing Part I registration.
Note – UPSC will not allow the processing of an application after the final submission of the application. The RID is the registration ID generated by the system when the applicant completes the Part I registration of the application. Candidates should write down their RID for future reference.
Part II
To complete the Part II registration form:
Instructions for Completing Part II of the 2023 UPSC forms CSE Application
Step 1: Complete Part II of the application using the registration ID you received after completing Part I. Log back in using your RID and DOB details and proceed to Part II registration.
Step 2: This part requires candidates to pay the application fee either online mode or offline mode/cash payment mode via SBI Challan.
Step 3: Select a test center for pretesting.
Step 4: Candidates must upload all required documents.
- Photo in JPG format – 20 KB to 300 KB
- Signature in JPG format – 20 KB to 300 KB
- Photo ID in PDF format ranging from 20 KB to 300 KB
Step 5: After uploading all the documents in the required size format, click Upload. After step 6, the final statement will be displayed on the screen. To submit your application, check the box.
Step 6: After the final submission of UPSC forms, you will receive a confirmation message to complete your request for your registered mobile number and email address. This allows candidates to verify that they have completed and submitted their application.
